Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Academia
By appointment from ICHRIE President, Dr. Ralf Burbach, Head of Hospitality Discipline, TU Dublin, ICHRIE welcomes the first ICHRIE Industry Advisory Council (IAC) in our 75-year history.
ICHRIE has taken on the responsibility to help connect academia and industry in a way that supports collaboration, innovation, responsible change, and continual growth. Creating the IAC is our largest effort on bridging the gap between industry and academia.
Please meet in inaugural ICHRIE Industry Advisory Council Members:
This core executive group will work within ICHRIE’s mission, terms, and values, as well as specific objectives and priorities, to formulate recommendations on diversity, representation, membership, structure, and operations, as well as, on collaboration, research, talent acquisition, faculty externships, student internships, professional development, and curriculum.
