ICHRIE Members,

Thank you to everyone who participated and sent in incredibly thoughtful LMS name ideas!  We loved all of them!  We carefully reviewed the submissions and wanted to ensure that the name can be holistic and would allow the ICHRIE LMS to grow and include all aspects of hospitality and tourism, not just sustainability and event technology. 

The name of ICHRIE’s new Learning Management System (LMS), will be:

ICHRIE Advance
Educational Resources for Event Production Technology and Sustainable Hospitality

Statement of Purpose

ICHRIE Advance represents an interconnected ecosystem in which global hospitality academia, and their students, can upskill practices with knowledge direct from industry event technology experts, sustainability leadership, and other important hospitality sectors to gain access to innovative and engaging supplemental materials that provide beneficial resources for teaching and learning.

Contest winners

The ICHRIE team took inspiration for the name and statement of purpose from two of our contest submitters, so without further ado, we proudly share the winners! Both will receive a free registration to the 2025 ICHRIE Global Conference, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
