Lecturer and HRM Career Center Facilitator

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree in Retailing, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field, a Ph.D. in a similar field is highly desirable. Preference is given to those with a demonstrated ability and experience in teaching retailing and/or hospitality related courses at the University level. A strong record of work in the industry and the ability to network and develop relationships are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Teach retail, restaurant, hotel and/or tourism related courses at the undergraduate level. Continue and expand our outstanding network of industry professional contacts to support student career success. Maintain relationships with alumni to enhance our network. Participate in program development, create, and maintain strong industry relationships, especially with international partners. Assist and counsel students with career decisions including continued education at the master’s level. Assist in the planning of all departmental career related events. Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
