Director, The Redler Institute of Culinary Arts The Director of the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts, in collaboration with full time culinary arts Faculty/Department Lead/Chair, provides a vision and leadership required to realize the mission of the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts and the college at large. Primary administrative responsibilities include program development/management, budget development/management, maintaining programmatic accreditation/external partnerships and providing operational supervision to full and part time faculty and staff in the department. Instructional responsibilities require a strong culinary skill set and the ability to teach students effectively in an instructional environment. The Director of the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts, is not a member of the full-time faculty unit but will maintain a specified teaching load of up to nine (9) credit hours per semester along with administrative duties. The Director of the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts, will be responsible for planning, preparing menus, and participating in various Community Cooking Classes and Foundation events conducted in concert with the Foundation. The Director’s participation in Foundation-sponsored events produced in collaboration with the Culinary Arts Program is required leading up to and during each event. This may include, but is not limited to, off-site Chef’s Table events or fund-raising activities for the Culinary Arts student scholarships and programs.
